In late 2022, Stadler’s Valencia plant delivered a brand-new Eurodual locomotive to LEG Leipziger Eisenbahnverkehrsgesellschaft in Delitzsch, Germany. Entering service in 2023 as 90 80 2159 445-6 D-LEG, the locomotive initially ran in plain white, without a distinct livery.
That has now changed. Railcolor Design, in cooperation with Pat & Patachon / Railcaption, has unveiled the custom brand-centered design for LEG’s Eurodual. The concept takes inspiration from LEG’s established three-stripe design, first developed for the company’s Vectron Dual Mode.
To maintain visual harmony between the lower sections and the main body, a refined approach was taken. Subtle dark-blue striping now anchors the design, giving the locomotive a stronger identity while preserving balance and clarity in its appearance.
