We have updated the story with all the information we have confirmed so far:

During the summer of 2021, the first signs were there that DB Cargo Deutschland and lease company MRCE had closed a deal for exchanging 10 locomotives:

187 100-109 go from DB Cargo Deutschland to MRCE – These are AC locomotives authorized for Germany only, on average five years old.
