June 2026. Less than two years away. That month, Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen (LNVG), Bremen, Hamburg and the Hannover region wants to have two operators ready to take over the ‘Hansenetz’ network in the north of Germany.

Bombardier has released the first updated TRAXX AC1 locomotive. ’91 80 6146 503-8 D-BTH’ now has a livery similar to the one used for the new AC3s.
