Coradia Max for LNVG delayed for a 6th time

According to the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung, the entry into service of the Alstom Coradia Max trains for LNVG has been delayed for a 6th time, now being scheduled for early 2027.

The delivery of new double-deck EMUs for LNVG has been delayed. Alstom was originally supposed to deliver 34 trains by mid-December 2024 but now it has told LNVG that only ten trains will be ready on time, thus forcing the future owner to revise its fleet introduction schedule.

Alstom is currently busy manufacturing 34 trains for Expresskreuz Bremen/Niedersachsen (EBN). Their future owner, public transport authority LNVG, has just released an update, including the updated design of these new Coradia Stream HC trains.
