In 2024, our Railcolor design team presented you the new design for Aixrail’s new G2000 locomotives. With 3 different versions for 3 locomotives and a bold striped design, they count to the most striking G2000s out there. We’ve partnered up with Märklin to bring this unique design to the tracks at home as well.
The model comes in a AC (Märklin) and DC (Trix) version, and are standard equipped with light and sound functions for realistic operations. The modern construction ensures a smooth ride quality and many interesting details. The Aixrail design has been carefully applied on the locomotive, using the same original printing files as the real locomotives, provided by Railcolordesign.
In real life, these locomotives can mainly be seen on construction trains, with their home base being Aachen (DE). The models are available directly through Märklin/Trix as well as at major model train retailers.
