Last year, we reported that Västtrafik planned to introduce its new Avelia Stream Nordic trains (previously known as Zefiro Express) into service in 2025. After several years of delays, the launch now appears to be on track — and alongside the upcoming introduction, Västtrafik has confirmed an additional order for 35 more trainsets to further expand its fleet.
